IBJ 2010 AWARD - BEST GRAB

Credeblug S.L. was awarded as worldwide best grab manufacturer; the jury valued specially the continuous innovation of our products. The ceremony took place at the renewed Savoy Hotel in London where an audience of well known companies, leaders in the maritime sector from all around the world attended to the event. Prized companies competed on excellence and achievements in cargo handling business. IBJ, a reference journal for the last 30 years, organized the award ceremony that has already become a reference for port and maritime sector companies.

A distinguished panel of international 15 judges representing the 5 continents is chosen every year. The panel is divided in separate groups to avoid conflicts of interests. The guest of honour at the ceremony was Mike Penning MP, UK´s parliamentary Under Secretary of State of Transport.

Institutional recognition at Azpeitia's Town Hall
Awarded for 45 years of history, Azpeitia’s town hall and Mayor Julian Aizmendi hosted Credeblug’s direction board for the latest company’s progress and international presence.

HISTORY:

In 1.965 Blug Ibérica S.A. was founded by Jesus Letona with the clear idea of giving adapted solutions to any handling or production need, principally in the metallurgical sector. For many years the company has successfully designed different types of rolling mills, cutters, presses, roller tracks and many other machines of great technical complexity and always maintaining BLUG brand's guarantee.

Parallel experience was acquired in the orange peel grabs, clamshell grabs and tongs design and manufacture for different materials handling. The great reception on the market of Blug handling solutions allowed the progressive specialization of the company in this type of products.

In 1.993 Blug Ibérica became Credeblug S.L. starting a new stage in which Blug products have managed to be a reference worldwide. With more than 5.000 machines manufactured, Credeblug possesses the most complete handling solutions' catalogue of the market and is technically and structurally ready to face new challenges as well as continuously evolve its products and systems.
